Here it is, the seasons of my garden for the calendar 12 months 2015. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I routinely article overhead pictures of the garden taken from an upstairs window. Very well, my partner Davin Threat data the back garden from a diverse vantage position through the kitchen area window approximately each working day and posts them to his individual Instagram account. He has compiled all of his photos for the year into a time-lapse movie.
It is awesome to watch the transformation as the garden shifts as a result of the seasons from a sparse winterscape into summer’s dense inexperienced jungle and again once more.
For the earlier 5 decades I have started each new calendar year with a publish searching back on my calendar year in gardening. I nonetheless intention to do that this 7 days, but have to acknowledge that since it was this sort of a lousy 12 months I am getting some hassle with it. Looking at Davin’s time-lapse, the months of sickness and the toll they took on my garden (and me) are barely perceptible, and for now I favor this viewpoint.
